Bob Lite / Genius Lite

Under 'Advanced', 'Routing Settings', you can add static routes. There is room for a network address, subnet mask and gateway.

You need to setup some static routes like this:

Network Address: 8.8.8.8
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
Gateway: (use the IP address of your bob lite - this is the IP that's in the browser URL)

Once done, save the settings, and it will make room for you to add more, you also need add these:

Network Address: 8.8.4.4
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
Gateway: (use the IP address of your bob lite)

Network Address: 208.67.222.222
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
Gateway: (use the IP address of your bob lite)

Network Address: 209.244.0.3
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
Gateway: (use the IP address of your bob lite)

For NETFLIX apps of any device you also need to add following static routes;

Network Address: 23.246.0.0
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
Gateway: (use the IP address of your router)

Network Address: 45.57.0.0
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
Gateway: (use the IP address of your router)

Network Address: 108.175.0.0
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
Gateway: (use the IP address of your router)

Network Address: 185.2.0.0
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
Gateway: (use the IP address of your router)

Network Address: 198.38.0.0
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
Gateway: (use the IP address of your router)

Network Address: 198.45.0.0
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
Gateway: (use the IP address of your router)

    Thank you for the quick and easy instructions. I'm in NZ and have an ADSL Router provided by ISP Orcon. It is called a Genius Lite, which I believe is a rebranded iiNet router also known as Bob-Lite.

    Unfortunately, I didn't find your FAQ on Chromecast because I didn't see it listed in the supported devices page so had to find out the Static Routes settings the old fashioned way - Google searching.

    Anyway, it is working correctly. Thanks for providing such a great service to Aussies and Kiwis.
